a lot like love starring ashton kutcher & amanda peet is yet, another hopeless romantic comedy. 2 idiots who are fated to be with each other. they crossed paths a bunch of times and eventually, falls in love (duh). sounds cliche? you bet.



theres nothing much interesting about this film. the storyline is predictable. the chemistry between kutcher & peet is so-so. seriously hollywood, you have got to put these redundant romantic comedies to rest. enuf is enuf.

nothing beats one fine day & you've got mail. lol. well, just my personal opinion. so those who've been anticipated to catch this piece of crap, dun bother.

i'll give it 2/5.

everybody knows tt my dad & i are not close. we were never. we dont even talk to each other despite living under one roof. anyways, i overheard sum stuff he told my mom tts very painful. was looking at sum old photos earlier in the day. photos of me & him. started to cry and asked myself a few questions.

why did we turn out this way? why did u have to wake up lil bro when u needed help with the computer when i was just a few centimetres away watching tv? why cant we argue abt our fav teams when we're staring at the tv watching a soccer match? why didn't we say anything to each other when we were stuck in the lift? why cant we look at each other and smile? why didnt you say anything or punish me when i fail my exams? why cant you treat me like u how you treat my siblings?

what did i do wrong? when did u stop caring?

i see how my friends and cousins get along with their dads. they wrestle and joke around. they go out fishing. most dads taught their sons to swim, to play soccer or even to cycle. i dont get any of tt from you. why?

i know im not the perfect son. i didnt go into poly when i know tts wat u want. but wat abt wat i want? im doing wat i love in nafa and im enjoying every second of it. and i know i screwed things up at times but i learned my mistakes. still, why say the things you said?

whatever it is, you're still my dad and i respect you. i just hope things will get bttr between us. i dont know how its like to feel a dad's love and concern. i dont know how it feels like to have a real conversation with a dad. i dont know how it feels like to really have a dad.

i love you. i really do.

ok stop complaining pple. here i am. yes its been ages. i've been a lazy pig these past weeks. nothing much happened but here we go...

finally, i managed to reformat my computer and added 120gb to it. *yay*

my eyes were swollen after eating seafood with the guys @newton. it was bad. cant open my right eye for 4 days. lesson learnt? no freakin' seafood for the rest of my life. heh. but you cant resist your cravings at times y'know.

met the usual gang @holland village after recovering. had dinner & chilled at breko. carona is still the best. but stella artois ain't tt bad. that was quite a day. as usual, the gerls bitched the whole night while the guys just stared at each other. lol.

met up with an ol' pal edward. aaah.. its great to finally see him after a year. waited for him for almost 2 hours. alone in town! idiot. had coffee & did lotsa catching up @orchard parade hotel's starbucks. he's serving our country now. make us proud bro. heh.

was busy last week cos lisa, my sec sch mate, is moving to london. went over to her house. had dinner and all tt crap. sent her to the airport the next day. said our last goodbyes and off she went. it still hasnt sunk in yet. the fact tt i may or may not see her again. its a very weird feeling. im not happy tt shes gone, but on the other hand, im not sad either. errr.. nvm. whatever it is, take gd care of yrself there gerl. you will be missed. :)

went over to cheryl's place on wednesday. the gerls played mahjong the entire evening while the guys erm, went swimming and had steam bath/sauna. lol. yes. how gay. heh. theres nothing much we can do anyway. was supposed to play tennis but we got lazy.

tts how these past 2 weeks were spent. these were the so-called highlights. other than tt, we had our regular coffee sessions, dinner & played hide-and-seek at some multi-story carparks. in the middle of the night! very childish indeed. sickos.

and oh, was supposed to go bangkok but had to re-schedule. ok fine. had to cancel due to some circumstances. heh. she had her problems and i had mine. but its ok. theres always another school break. :)

gosh. im rambling. this is wat happens when you stopped blogging for weeks. i've said it before and im gonna say it again. holiday is killing me! yes... and i've got a month more to go. *argh* nafarians, call me and do something fun. and i mean fun.

lastly, i realise tt ex-frens come crawling back like a retarded baby. why? secrets. things they did in the past. things tt they dont want the new pple in their new pathetic life to know. what a loser. but you know what babe, your secrets are safe with me. *grins*

yes. at last. lol. i have been very busy with school these past few weeks. stayed back til 9pm and at times til 11pm to finish up my work. and it paid off. i passed everything. lol.

holiday is a bore i swear. didnt really go out much. met up with sum sec sch frens. was excited cos its been ages since we last met. but the reception i got was not really wat i expected. maybe i was being paranoid but i guess they werent anticipated to see me. well, im fine with it. still got my nafa babies.

met up with some of my classmates on tuesday. had sushi @heeren's. i was super clumsy tt day. spilled all sorts of nonsense. lol. there were 5 of us and we spent $100 on sushi. wth. crazy. went off to dhoby ghaut cos sum of them wanted to play x-box. lol. managed to complete shrek. great game. good entertainment. ended the day by having coffee @nydc. aaaah... im addicted to nydc's coffee.

alot of pple have been complaining tt i've been missing these past week. well, yep. this holiday, im just gonna be a duck and wait for pple to ask me out. im done planning outings. so guys, call me. i'll definitely turn up if im available.

congrats to liverpool for winning the champions league. was rooting for ac milan but whatever. i dont really care. its not chelsea anyway. thumbs up to carrie underwood for winning american idol. being a country singer does help in america cos its huge over there. lastly, hat's off to sergio for winning the US$1 million in the contender. and my hero alfonso gomez walked home with 3rd. respect.

and happy belated bday to fazlinda who recently turned 18. and sri who turned 19. hope you guys have a wonderful bday.

and my very gd fren, kenny, who'll be leaving for new zealand on sunday, have a grt trip. have fun. and dont forget my cow! lol. bon voyage!

and my fellow nafarians, have a good and long rest. we deserve it. except for um... nevermind.
